A 17TH CENTURY SAILING SHIP. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN LONGER, BUT I STARTED AT THE BOWSPRIT AND FORE CASTLE; AND, AS I WORKED MY WAY AFT, I REALIZED THAT MY AFT CASTLE WOULD BE OFF THE PAPER; SO I SHORTENED THE SHIP AS I CONTINUED DRAWING. THE MAIN MAST SHOULD BE A LITTLE HIGHER, BUT I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM THERE AS WELL.
I HOPE THIS SHIP DOESN'T GET ATTACKED BY PIRATES; OR MAYBE THIS THING IS BEING SAILED BY PIRATES! (I DREW THIS WITH AN INK PEN.) -ERIC FARMER, RIVER KING

THAT DRAWING'S BASED ON THE SWEDESH ROYAL WAR SHIP, WASA, THAT SANK IN 1628, AND WAS RAISED AND RESTORED, AND IS NOW IN THE WASA MUSEUM IN STOCKHOLM. IF I'M EVER IN THAT PART OF THE PLANET, I'M GOING TO SEE THE WASA; BUT I LIVE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF EARTH IN THE COUNTRY OF MISSISSIPPI.

 Yeahh!!! You gave me a idea!!! I have same draws of Ships, I will go search on my "trunk" hshshs... Do you like it very much? I love piracy and old ships, I work with nautical knots (I was sailorman - to interior navigations, It was cool, now I'm a Portuguese language teacher), I can post pic of my knot jobs, tools and its stories!!! Old old sailorman stories!!!
